- **Website:** <https://bicitalia.it>
- **Primary alias:** `bicitalia.it`

## Description

Bicitalia is a national cycling network project created by FIAB, the Italian Federation for the Environment and Bicycle. It promotes everyday cycling and bicycle tourism by connecting cycle paths, former railway lines and low-traffic roads across Italy’s 20 regions. The website helps riders discover routes and plan trips through an interactive map, with downloadable GPX tracks and information about route type, signage and road surfaces.

Its route listings include the Bicitalia national network, four EuroVelo routes crossing Italy, quality cycle routes and itineraries developed by local authorities. Cyclists can explore routes by region, category and available services, and find bike-friendly accommodation through Albergabici, FIAB’s network for cycling visitors. Listed facilities may include secure bicycle storage, basic repair tools, bike rental, laundry and guided tours.

Bicitalia’s routes are mapped and updated by volunteers throughout Italy. The service is presented as free and open to users, with donations supporting its development. Through route information and accommodation resources, Bicitalia connects cyclists with opportunities to explore Italy by bike.
