# Bickell Foundation - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `bickellfoundation.org` ## Description The Bryan and Amanda Bickell Foundation is a brand dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of both dogs and children in need. Founded by former Chicago Blackhawks player, Bryan Bickell, and his wife, Amanda, the foundation was inspired by their campaign, Chicago Loves Pits. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about the plight of pit bulls and also support children who could benefit from learning about the resilience of these dogs. The foundation offers various programs, including Bick's Pits and Paws for Strength, which focus on providing assistance to pit bulls and abused children. Additionally, the foundation hosts events and offers support for those affected by Multiple Sclerosis. Through their programs, the Bickell Foundation aims to help those who often cannot help themselves, including both animals and children. By advocating for the end of discriminatory practices against pit bulls and supporting their adoption, the foundation strives to create a more compassionate and inclusive society.
