## Description

**Klima Biennale Wien**

Klima Biennale Wien is an innovative cultural initiative aimed at fostering a paradigm shift toward a sustainable future through the transformative power of art. Running from April 5 to July 14, 2024, this biennale serves as a platform for collaboration, awareness-raising, and community engagement, tackling pressing global challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and the intricate relationship between humanity and nature.

Under the artistic direction of Claudius Schulze, the event assembles diverse perspectives from contemporary art, design, architecture, and science, promoting socially and ecologically responsible global relationships. The program features exhibitions, workshops, and public installations, all carefully crafted to deepen understanding and provoke dialogue on sustainability, care, and collective well-being.

Led by a dedicated team including Gerlinde Riedl and Sithara Pathirana, Klima Biennale Wien emphasizes multi-faceted discussions, aiming to bridge abstract global issues with immediate local actions, thereby offering insightful alternatives and innovative solutions for a post-growth society.
