## Description

Big Day of Giving is a brand that cares deeply about fostering the spirit of giving in El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, and Yolo counties. They are dedicated to building a stronger and more generous community. They have created GivingEdge, a website that makes it easy for generous individuals to discover local nonprofits. In addition, they coordinate the annual Big Day of Giving, a day-long celebration of local giving. Since its inception in 2013, Big Day of Giving has raised an impressive $91 million through the collective efforts of over 60,000 donors. The event has had a game-changing impact on local philanthropy and showcases the power of community-driven efforts. Big Day of Giving connects donors to local nonprofits and strengthens collaboration within the nonprofit sector. GivingEdge, the knowledge-base behind Big Day of Giving, helps donors give smarter by providing comprehensive information on local nonprofits. By analyzing data collected from GivingEdge, the Sacramento Region Community Foundation gains invaluable insights into the region's nonprofit sector, allowing them to better support and move it forward.
