## Description

Big Purple Pants is a Southend-based charity supporting people living with secondary breast cancer across Essex. Its mission is to offer hope, strength and companionship, helping members feel less alone as they navigate life after diagnosis. The organisation recognises that treatment and circumstances differ, and provides a welcoming space where people can connect with others who understand their experiences.

Members can attend regular, informal meetups in Southend and surrounding areas to share stories, talk, listen or simply enjoy a coffee together. Big Purple Pants also offers friendly WhatsApp groups, allowing members to stay connected in a way that suits them. Whether someone is newly diagnosed or has been living with secondary breast cancer for some time, the group provides emotional support, a listening ear and a sense of community.

Joining is open to anyone in Essex seeking support, with opportunities to choose how to participate. Donations help the charity maintain its support services, provide resources and organise events for members.
