## Description

Big Ray’s is a locally owned Alaska outdoor outfitter that has served the community since 1947. With five stores in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Kodiak, the retailer equips people for work, recreation, and challenging northern weather. Its selection includes clothing, footwear, workwear, fishing gear, hunting equipment, and camping supplies for men, women, and children.

Customers can shop for winter, rain, and work jackets; boots; bibs; base layers; and accessories, alongside specialized fishing and hunting equipment. Adventure gear ranges from packs, tents, sleeping systems, and cookware to lighting, hydration products, safety supplies, and navigation tools. Big Ray’s also offers corporate outfitting and features gear from its exclusive brands Activ8, Kavik, and Arolik.

Activ8 children’s outerwear is designed for Alaska’s cold conditions, with waterproof and windproof materials, reflective details on selected items, and extended sizing. The store also carries products from other outdoor brands, including rainwear, waders, and fishing boots. Big Ray’s supports shoppers through its retail stores and online shop, and offers resources such as a rewards program, events, and classes.
