Big Rip Classic is an annual disc golf tournament held in Mississippi at the beginning of October. Founded by Spin Crazy, a group of local disc golfers with experience competing in regional events and organizing tournaments, the event began in 2016 at Little Black Creek Campground & Park near Purvis, Mississippi. Tournament Director Michel Munn and local supporters and sponsors helped it grow into one of the Southeast’s largest-attended tournaments, with some of the region’s biggest payouts.

The event combines competitive disc golf with a broader player experience. Alongside tournament play, Big Rip Classic offers camping, a players’ party, live music, a fireworks show, and other activities.
