The Big Texan is a renowned brand that has been satisfying appetites since 1960. Located on Route 66 in Amarillo, Texas, this famous steak ranch offers an unforgettable dining experience. The highlight of their menu is the world-famous 72-ounce steak challenge, where brave individuals attempt to finish a massive steak meal in one hour. The challenge includes mouthwatering extras like shrimp cocktail, baked potato, salad, roll, and butter. The contest has simple rules: no assistance, no leaving the table, no sharing, and everything must be consumed within the time limit. Winners receive a refund of their payment, but if you don't succeed, you'll have to pay the full cost of $72.
