## Description

BigusBukus is an online book-exchange platform where members can pass on books they no longer read and discover something new without buying or selling. The service is free to use: when another member requests one of your listed books, you send it and earn a point, which can be used to request any other book on the site. This flexible system means exchanges do not need to be arranged directly between two members; postage applies to each exchange. New members can also earn bonus points for listing their first book and completing their first exchange.

The site features a varied catalogue of new and used books, including fiction, antique titles, children’s books, textbooks and school reading, specialist literature, comics, magazines, cookbooks and board games. Listings can be browsed and filtered by condition, completeness, age suitability, language, city and publisher, helping members find items that match their interests. BigusBukus presents book sharing as a practical way to give pre-loved titles another reader while making a wider selection available to its community.
