## Description

Biitsi Vantaa is an outdoor beach volleyball training centre in Varisto, Vantaa, built to provide conditions suited to the needs of Olympic-level athletes. The venue has seven courts and 700 tonnes of white sand, along with changing and shower facilities and a container bar. Its playing season runs from 11 May to 29 August 2026, with court access dependent on weather for some casual bookings.

Biitsi Vantaa ry, a specialist beach volleyball club, runs the centre’s club activities and regular court sessions. The courts are primarily intended for national-team athletes and club members. The club welcomes adult and junior members and offers casual and season-long court bookings, junior sessions, and opportunities to take part in the sport. Biitsi Vantaa’s representative teams include junior, senior, and national-team players, who compete on the world tour and in major championships. The centre works with the City of Vantaa, the Finnish Volleyball Association, the Finnish Olympic Committee, Suomen Beach Volley Oy, and Beach Volley Team Finland Oy.
