## Description

Kien Thuis is a child and youth coaching practice led by Marijke Kienhuis, offering practical, solution-focused support to children, young people and their parents. Its coaching is generally short-term and provides a neutral perspective, helping clients identify what they want to change and discover their own strengths, qualities and skills. Support is tailored to each child and the family’s particular needs.

The practice works with children and young people aged 4 to 18 who need extra attention or guidance to regain balance and feel better. Topics may include social skills, grief and loss, sensitivity and sensory processing, worrying, stress, performance anxiety, troubling thoughts, self-esteem, confidence, resilience and parental separation. Coaching may be considered when a child has been feeling sad, anxious or angry for an extended period, or when a situation feels difficult for the child, family or teachers to manage.

Kien Thuis also offers the “Goed Fout = Goud!” training for children aged 9 to 12, subject to sufficient enrolment.
