## Description

Mattamy Homes Bike for Brain Health is a community cycling event organized to support Baycrest’s work in Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. Held in Toronto, the ride invites people of all ages and abilities to cycle on highways closed to traffic, starting and finishing at Exhibition Place. The event offers approximate routes of 10, 25, 50 and 75 kilometres, welcoming both recreational riders and those seeking an endurance challenge. Participants can ride at their own pace, join colleagues or community teams, and fundraise in honour of loved ones or for the future of brain health. Registration fees and fundraising requirements apply, with options varying by age. Riders receive on-route support, including food and rest stops, basic bicycle repairs and medical assistance. The event site also features a Cycling Village with cycling brands, equipment, bikes and vendors. Proceeds benefit Baycrest, whose researchers work to prevent, detect and treat cognitive decline, alongside its care, innovation and education programs.
