## Description

Bike Hub Nelson is a community-focused organisation in Nelson, New Zealand, helping more people get on bikes. It repairs and services donated bicycles, then makes them available to the community on a koha basis, so customers can contribute what they can afford. Visitors can browse a showroom of preloved bikes, and the organisation offers helmets with bikes where possible. Bike Hub Nelson also runs bike maintenance courses for people who want to build their repair skills. Its public opening hours are Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 pm, except on public holidays and during the Christmas and New Year period. People can donate bikes in good condition during mechanic sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:30 am to noon, or during public opening hours. If transport is a barrier, Bike Hub may be able to arrange collection. Bikes that are unsuitable for community use may be dismantled for parts or sold to help meet costs.
