Bike Ranger is an independent bicycle shop and repair service based at 1 Halford Street in Castlemaine, Victoria, serving local riders and surrounding areas. Founded by Matt, a fully qualified bicycle mechanic from Germany with an engineering background, the business supports cycling as a sustainable, healthy way to travel and aims to keep bikes working for longer.

The shop sells new and pre-loved bicycles, including e-bikes and cargo bikes, as well as cycling gear and spare parts selected with durability and waste reduction in mind. Its workshop services a wide range of road-legal bikes, from commuter, road, gravel and mountain bikes to BMX, children’s bikes, e-bikes and cargo bikes. Options range from safety checks and routine maintenance to comprehensive overhauls, rebuilds and specialist e-bike and cargo-bike servicing. Bosch e-bike system checks and updates are also available.

For smaller repairs and urgent problems, Bike Ranger offers general labour and emergency assistance. Riders who cannot bring a bike to the shop can arrange pickup or, for emergencies, an on-site call-out.
