Bikes & Beyond is an independent bicycle shop in Astoria, Oregon, serving the Oregon North Coast and Southwest Washington. Founded by Richard Fenscak in 1988 and under Scott Lee’s stewardship since 2008, the store is one of Astoria’s longest-standing retail landmarks. It offers a broad selection of bicycles, including e-bikes, pedal bikes and kids’ bikes, as well as bike parts and gear for paved trails and rough terrain. Customers can shop models from brands such as Trek, Retrospec, Jamis, Electra, Surly, Aventon and others. The shop also builds custom bikes, helping riders create a bike suited to their needs and adventures; custom builds include six months of free service. Bikes & Beyond has introduced its own e-bike, the Beyond Bike, and offers a consignment service for customers looking to sell a bicycle. Its experienced team provides service and advice to help customers choose bikes and parts. Located at 1052 Commercial Street, the shop is open Tuesday through Saturday and Sunday, and closed Mondays.
