## Description

Billie Harrigan provides education and consulting for parents and birth professionals, with an approach described as evidence based, trauma informed, and scientifically sound. Drawing on 40 years of serving families and teaching midwives in 125 countries, Billie shares traditional birth wisdom to help families make informed, empowered decisions and support safer, gentler birth experiences.

Her offerings include Becoming a Traditional Birth Companion, a training in the wise-woman tradition; Becoming Trauma Informed, a self-paced course offering 65 professional education hours; and Mother Billie’s Postpartum Roadmap, with self-paced modules and weekly live calls. Private consultations are available through Talking with an Elder, and the site also helps families find a birth companion. Billie is rebuilding Birthing Safely in a Technocratic Model as an evergreen course, planned for 2027.

Families can also explore The Hive Collective, a private member association focused on family sovereignty. Through Research Rants, Billie discusses evidence related to maternity care, while her blog, interviews, and monthly newsletter share further perspectives and updates.
