Bio2RDF is an open-source project that leverages Semantic Web technologies to establish the most extensive network of Linked Data in the Life Sciences field. Through simple conventions, Bio2RDF creates RDF(S) compatible Linked Data from various sources, enhancing data accessibility. While the online version serves as a demonstration of semantic web technologies, for the most updated version, users can access the code and construct it themselves. Bio2RDF Release 3 (July 2014) offers around 11 billion triples across 35 datasets, including clinicaltrials.gov, dbSNP, PubMed, and more. The project ensures comprehensive dataset statistics, improved data representation, and CORS-enabled SPARQL endpoints using Virtuoso 7.2.0.
