## Description

Bioconcept AB is a Swedish company founded in 2003 that develops, formulates and produces dietary supplements and animal feed supplements. Its work is rooted in research into nitric oxide, a natural signalling molecule, and the company says this scientific foundation informs most of its six-brand portfolio. Product development covers four areas: adults, horses, dogs and children.

The portfolio includes Flexovital+Rödbeta, the company’s largest brand, offering beetroot-extract supplements for adults; Flexovital N.O.RDIC, which serves Nordic and international markets through e-commerce; and Flexovital Activate, a caffeine-free raspberry-flavoured powder in stick packs for active adults. Atletix Horse provides feed supplements for horses, while Vital Pet offers supplements for dogs. VitaBeaner is a separate range of children’s vitamins.

Bioconcept describes its model as spanning research, in-house formulation, production oversight and routes to market. Products reach customers through the company’s own online stores, pharmacies, retailers and export channels. The company also supports retail and distribution partners with product education and campaign materials. Its research background includes a peer-reviewed publication in Nutrients in 2024.
