## Description

The Agence Régionale de la Biodiversité Nouvelle-Aquitaine (ARB NA) is a public-interest organization supporting the preservation and restoration of biodiversity across France’s Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. Its mission is to help people access and share reliable information, take part in public discussion, and turn knowledge into action. The agency also supports public policies and works with local authorities, organizations, businesses, and other regional partners.

ARB NA covers terrestrial, aquatic, and semi-aquatic environments, as well as water resources. Its website provides articles, reports, maps, indicators, publications, videos, and geographic tools to help users understand regional biodiversity and water issues. The agency also shares project examples, organizes events and collective discussions, and offers resources for public engagement and participatory science.

For those developing local initiatives, ARB NA provides project-planning support, a directory of resource organizations, and information about funding tools. Its programs include the Regional Biodiversity Strategy, Territories Committed to Nature, and guidance on the Avoid, Reduce, Compensate approach. The agency also connects users with wildlife-care centers and regional biodiversity networks.
