Christine and Hugo Angermaier and their three children converted their farm to organic production in 2015. Today, the farm grows food grains and its own soybeans, which it transforms into tofu in an on-site production facility established in 2019. This farm-to-food approach keeps cultivation and processing together, offering seasonal, regional products made from the family’s own crops. The tofu range includes classic natural tofu, natural and seasoned smoked tofu, and sesame tofu. The farm also supplies natural tofu in salt brine in reusable Weck jars, tofu in oil, and smoked varieties wrapped in butter paper to unpackaged shops. In summer, it often offers a herb-seasoned “Schmankerlscheibe” suited to grilling and pan-frying. Biohof Angermaier has no farm shop, but customers can order by email or phone.
