## Description

BIOKET, short for Bioeconomy Key Enabling Technologies, is a pioneering global event founded in 2018 by B4C – The French Bioeconomy Cluster. It plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between biomass and biotechnology, emphasizing the transformative Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) essential for converting biomass into high-value products. Unlike many events that focus on end-user markets and policies, BIOKET prioritizes the technologies driving industrial modernization and a shift towards a greener economy.

Each year, BIOKET gathers industry leaders, researchers, and innovators from across more than 50 countries, fostering collaboration and networking opportunities. The event showcases the importance of KETs in promoting sustainable innovations within the bioeconomy. With editions held in key locations such as Strasbourg, Lille, and Trois-Rivières, BIOKET has successfully adapted its format to include digital components while continuing to expand its global reach. Attendees can expect inspiring speakers, innovation tours, and a platform for exploring the complete biorefinery value chain, reinforcing its reputation as a centerpiece for bioeconomy advancement.
