## Description

Bioprojet is a French pharmaceutical research laboratory founded in 1982 with the aim of turning scientific discoveries into practical therapeutic solutions. Combining academic research with pharmaceutical expertise, the company develops and commercializes medicines through its Bioprojet Pharma business, established in 1992, and conducts research and development through Bioprojet Biotech, created in 2001. Its R&D teams work across biochemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology and pharmacokinetics, supported by a research centre near Rennes.

Bioprojet has contributed to the discovery of the histamine H3 receptor in the central nervous system, advancing understanding of wakefulness and informing research into neurological and psychiatric conditions. Its medicines address a range of health needs and include Amglidia, Anapen, Clastoban, Cleviprex, Kengrexal, Ozawade, Remodulin, Tiorfan, Tiorfanor and Wakix. The company also lists the Helicobacter Test INFAI and Fanolyte among its products.

With commercial activity in more than ten countries and partnerships involving over 100 scientific institutions, Bioprojet seeks to bring research-led treatments to patients internationally.
