## Description

International Bird Rescue (IBR) is a renowned brand that operates two year-round aquatic bird rescue centers in California. They have one center located in San Pedro (Los Angeles Harbor) in Southern California and another in Fairfield (San Francisco Bay-Delta) in Northern California. In addition, they have an operational Anchorage Wildlife Response Center (AWRC) in Alaska, specifically for caring for oiled wildlife in case of oil spills. Since 1971, IBR's team of response specialists has spearheaded oiled bird rescue efforts in over 220 oil spills across 12 countries. They take immense pride in being a member of the Oiled Wildlife Care Network (OWCN) since the establishment of this California state spill response agency. IBR's mission is to rescue waterbirds in crisis and they have admitted over 150,000 birds since their inception in 1971. They offer critical care to seabirds not only for oil spill situations but also year-round, admitting around 3,500-5,000 birds annually. You can support their lifesaving work by purchasing items from their online store or participating in their virtual run/walk events. Join IBR in their endeavor to create a safer future for aquatic birds and the natural world.
