## Description

BirdNote is a nonprofit media organization that connects people with the joy and wonder of birds through vivid, sound-rich storytelling. Its programs explore birds’ lives, habitats, behaviors, and the challenges they face, with the goal of inspiring audiences to care about nature and take steps to protect it. BirdNote’s offerings include BirdNote Daily, a two-minute radio show; podcasts such as Bring Birds Back and Threatened; and BirdNote Presents, along with videos, photography, field notes, and other bird-focused stories. The organization also provides birdwatching resources, educational materials for educators, and guidance on helping birds and taking action for conservation. Listeners can explore bird sounds and sights, learn how to access the shows, and subscribe to a weekly newsletter. BirdNote+ offers an additional way to enjoy its programming and support its work. The organization invites public support through donations, fundraising events, and auctions, and works with partners, radio stations, and a Science Advisory Council to further its mission.
