## Description

The Birregurra Art Show is a community-led annual event that celebrates creativity and brings artists and visitors together in Birregurra, Victoria. An established part of the local social calendar, the show attracts more than 100 participating artists and features hundreds of entries from across the state. Its weekend program includes an opening-night gala and public exhibition, with ticketed entry and free admission for visitors under 18 during the daytime sessions.

Artists can submit work across eight categories, with prizes recognizing achievement in each, including a $2,000 Best in Show award and a total prize pool of $9,000. Special awards celebrate local and young artists, while the People’s Choice prize is determined by visitor votes. Supported by local businesses and the wider community, the Birregurra Art Show provides a platform for regional artists and invites audiences to experience a range of artistic styles, perspectives and ideas.
