## Description

Birthing Athletes helps expectant and new parents prepare for birth and recovery through fitness, education, and individualized support. Its approach treats childbirth as an endurance event, with training designed to build physical readiness and support mental and emotional confidence. Services include personalized prenatal training and childbirth preparation, postnatal training sessions that can include the baby, nutritional education, and breastfeeding support. Clients can also connect through an online community for parents.

The brand was founded by Julie Ann Mohan, a certified nurse midwife with a master’s degree in nursing and a certified prenatal and postnatal fitness instructor. Based in Oakland County, Michigan, Julie brings more than twenty years of experience supporting women through pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum care. Her work draws on the potential benefits of movement, breathing, position changes, gravity, and strength in the upper body, core, glutes, and legs during labor. Birthing Athletes offers appointments for people seeking practical preparation and personalized guidance through pregnancy and early parenthood.
