# BirtwistleWiki - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `birtwistlewiki.com.au` ## Description BirtwistleWiki, presented as “Our Contribution,” is a community-focused historical resource documenting people and places connected to the Armadale, Serpentine-Jarrahdale, and Gosnells districts of Western Australia. Its collection includes more than 4,400 articles, with new information added as it becomes available. The site shares biographies and service histories of local people who served in the First World War and, for those from the Armadale district, the Second World War. Visitors can explore soldiers, sailors, nurses, servicewomen, military units, occupations, places of birth, and wartime experiences such as service, injury, captivity, and death. Dedicated sections cover Australian Army, Navy, and Air Force personnel, as well as Indigenous Australians. The site also offers cemetery searches for locations in and around Armadale, helping visitors learn about people buried there, and features information on ships, aircraft, camps, hospitals, medals, and memorials. BirtwistleWiki invites visitors to contribute information or correct facts to make its stories more complete, while noting that some records are still being developed. ## Industries - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Ancestry and Genealogy _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ - 🗺 Reference Materials - 🗺 Dictionaries and Encyclopedias _(under Reference Materials)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id3HO4WHHX/w/261/h/86/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793152431861) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Mandy | #e15361 | accent | | Copper | #bb6633 | dark | | Cream Brulee | #ffe8a1 | light | ## Fonts - Helvetica Neue — asset _(custom)_ - Helvetica Neue — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
