## Description

BitcoinPoW (BTCW) is a cryptocurrency project focused on decentralized mining and its stated aim of restoring Satoshi’s vision for Bitcoin. Its network combines Proof of Work (PoW) with Proof of Transactions (PoT), a consensus approach in which a wallet hashes its own unspent transaction outputs (UTXOs) to contribute mining work. The project says this ties mining weight to coin ownership, treats all UTXOs equally, and prevents larger or older wallets from receiving additional consensus influence. It also enforces solo mining at the protocol level, eliminating mining pools; the site reports that more than 140,000 blocks have been mined this way.

BitcoinPoW provides full-node wallet software for Windows, Linux, and macOS, along with an OpenCL GPU miner for NVIDIA and AMD hardware on those operating systems. Users can also access a Chrome browser wallet for sending, receiving, and bridging BTCW, and an official Android wallet APK. The project offers a white paper, blockchain explorers, and BTCW spot trading through Dex-Trade and EADX Exchange.
