## Description

Bitcoin SV (BSV) is a powerful blockchain that embodies the true vision of Bitcoin outlined in Satoshi Nakamoto's original White Paper. It is designed to be fast, scalable, environmentally-efficient, and regulation-friendly, making it a transformative force in the world of digital currency. With a focus on delivering a global infrastructure, Bitcoin SV has set many records along the way, establishing itself as the original Bitcoin blockchain. The journey of Bitcoin SV began with its inventor, Dr. Craig S. Wright, expressing concerns about the infiltration of anonymous developers and criminal misuse of Bitcoin. This led him to take a sabbatical and explore more complex ideas like the Metanet. Bitcoin SV's independence was solidified on November 15th, 2018, when Bitcoin Cash (BCH) diverged from the original protocol outlined in Bitcoin's white paper. This event marked a significant milestone in Bitcoin's history. The Genesis upgrade in February 2020 further restored the original Bitcoin Protocol, providing stability for developers and enabling unbounded scaling. As a result, Bitcoin SV has set numerous world records, including handling millions of transactions daily, supporting the largest blocks, and boasting the lowest environmental impact for a proof-of-work chain. Now, the BitcoinSV brands have been unified under the BSVblockchain umbrella, creating a streamlined and cohesive identity for the project. Bitcoin SV is on a mission to redefine the future of digital currency.
