## Description

Bite It! Records is an independent second-hand record shop in Barcelona, founded in 2016 by three collectors who wanted to share the music they love. The store focuses entirely on pre-owned records, with a strong selection of original pressings from the United States and the United Kingdom. Its range reflects the owners’ musical tastes, spanning jazz, soul, R&B, salsa and reggae, as well as folk, rock and pop.

The shop aims to make browsing an enjoyable, personal experience, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere where visitors can discover unexpected musical finds and talk about records. New arrivals are added every week, and the stock changes frequently. A small selection is listed on Discogs, but most records are available in the shop, where the team prefers to sell directly to customers.

After starting out at small fairs and shared premises, Bite It! Records opened its first public shop in Barcelona’s Gràcia neighbourhood in 2020. In 2023, it moved to a larger, more comfortable location at Carrer de Ciudad Real, 35.
