# Jiu-Jitsu Saguenay - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `bjjsaguenay.com` ## Description Jiu-Jitsu Saguenay, also known as La Forge du Nord, is a martial arts school in the Arvida area of Jonquière, serving adults and children across Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean. The gym teaches Brazilian jiu-jitsu, kickboxing and mixed martial arts, with 34 adult classes each week and programs available seven days a week, year-round. Its training emphasizes active, adaptable learning rather than kata or mechanical repetition: students practice through games and realistic situations informed by ecological-dynamics and constraints-based teaching methods. Sessions are designed to be engaging and safe, with head strikes and dangerous falls prohibited. The facility, expanded in January 2026, includes a professional MMA cage, an enlarged jiu-jitsu room, a strength-training area and an unsupervised children’s play space for use while parents train. Jiu-Jitsu Saguenay offers a two-class trial for $32, and membership pricing starts at $116 per month. The school welcomes people of different experience levels and encourages students to pursue their individual goals. Located at 2367 Rue Mathias, it is open seven days a week and reports a five-star Google rating. ## Industries - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Martial Arts _(under Sports)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/jiujitsusaguenay) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/jiujitsu_saguenay) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id9UtJPKNr/w/593/h/300/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793216217560) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id9UtJPKNr/w/1440/h/1440/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793216217898) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Tamarillo | #aa1018 | accent | | Mine Shaft | #212121 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Oswald — asset _(google)_ - Oswald — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
