## Description

BKE, or the Blue Cross in the Protestant Church, is a prominent self-help organization dedicated to supporting individuals struggling with addiction. Founded over a century ago, BKE operates on the principle of "help for self-help," aiding people affected by various forms of addiction, including alcohol, gambling, drugs, and media-related issues. The organization emphasizes a human-centered approach, ensuring inclusivity regardless of nationality, faith, or background.

BKE offers diverse services such as counseling for both individuals and their families, online support groups, and educational resources to help understand and overcome addiction. Their initiatives, like the "MEHR WERDEN!" project, aim to invigorate group dynamics and enhance community support. Furthermore, BKE continuously engages with local associations, facilitating connections across different German states.

With an active blog, newsletter, and a newly launched presence on social media, BKE fosters a vibrant community where individuals can share experiences and find hope. Join BKE in the journey toward a life of health, independence, and fulfillment.
