# BLAC - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `blac.org.au` ## Description Balmoral Little Athletics is a community sports club based at the Clem Jones Sporting Precinct in Carina, Brisbane. A member of Little Athletics Queensland and part of the South East Region, the club welcomes children aged 3 to 17 and their families to take part in a fun, supportive athletics program. Its season runs from September to March, with training on Tuesdays and competition on Wednesdays. The program introduces young athletes to a wide range of modified track and field events, including sprints, hurdles, middle-distance running, race walking, shot put, javelin, discus, high jump, long jump and triple jump. Events use age-appropriate distances and equipment, with a Tiny Tots program for ages 3–4 focused on developing fundamental running, jumping and throwing skills through play. Guided by the values of Family, Fun and Fitness, Balmoral encourages children to build skills, celebrate personal improvement and enjoy belonging to a community. The club is committed to a safe, inclusive and supportive environment and requires parents or guardians to remain on site under its no drop-off policy.
