Our mission is to create a more effective maternity care education model and workforce, ultimately reducing negative birth outcomes, maternal morbidity, and mortality, while improving birth outcomes for people of color and their infants. Our goal is to increase the availability of birth workers of color to support and serve the community. We offer comprehensive and affordable education and training opportunities in maternity care, as well as employment options for birth-workers to pursue their passion and earn a living wage. By doing so, we aim to make a meaningful impact on the lives of mamas, babies, and communities.
