The camp offers a unique 16-week experience for high school Black girls across the United States. Participants have the opportunity to pitch their own story ideas and 10 finalists are selected to have their short film projects produced by the program.
The camp provides all the necessary resources for the girls, including technology like SONY Cameras and lighting kits, as well as software like Final Draft and Adobe Premiere. Each participant is assigned a personal production team of exemplary Black women creatives to guide them through the process. Additionally, the camp offers free workshops from award-winning Black women filmmakers and Ph.
