## Description

Black Girls RUN! is a dynamic brand dedicated to empowering black women to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle. Created in 2009, Black Girls RUN! aims to tackle the rising obesity epidemic within the African-American community by providing resources and motivation for both novice and experienced runners. We strive to be a comprehensive fitness resource, offering tips, commentary, and support for all women looking to get off the couch and get moving. Our mission is to encourage African-American women to prioritize fitness and healthy living, ultimately reducing the number of chronic diseases associated with an unhealthy diet and sedentary lifestyle. With 80% of African-American women overweight, we believe it's time to make a change. Led by CEO Jay Ell Alexander, a passionate advocate for health and fitness, we are committed to making a difference. Join our vibrant community, find a local group, and be part of the movement toward a healthier future. Get ready to take charge of your fitness journey with Black Girls RUN!.
