## Description

Black Mane Tactical is a firearms training business founded by Lance Gaines in 2021, offering instruction centered on safety, responsible ownership, and practical skill development. Its courses serve beginners through advanced shooters, with options for personal defense, shooting sports, and professional growth. Training includes NRA-certified instruction in pistols, rifles, and shotguns, including NRA Personal Protection in the Home and Basic Shotgun Shooting courses. The home-protection course addresses safe handgun use for self-defense, legal rights, and real-life situations, while shotgun training covers safety, marksmanship, shooting techniques, and maintenance. Black Mane Tactical also offers private instruction and security consulting, with flexible options tailored to students’ goals and schedules. Founder and lead instructor Lance Gaines is an NRA-certified instructor, a Chief Range Safety Officer, and a Massachusetts State Police certified instructor; he also holds additional certification from the state of Utah. The business aims to provide a supportive learning environment where students build confidence, competence, and a strong understanding of firearm safety and lawful use.
