Formerly known as Turkish Journal of Marine Sciences, it publishes original research articles, review papers and short communications concerning the marine environment, rivers and the atmosphere. Its subject areas include pollution, marine biology, physical and chemical oceanography, marine geology and geophysics, maritime policy, biological conservation, coastal zone management and engineering. The journal provides an online submission service for manuscripts and an expanding archive of current and previous volumes, including issues that are no longer in circulation. Submissions must be unpublished, written in clear and concise English, and prepared according to the journal’s style requirements. Review papers are expected to synthesize and critically assess existing knowledge.
