## Description

Blackwell Rum is a Jamaican rum brand founded by Chris Blackwell, the Island Records founder, and inspired by his family’s time-honoured recipe and the warmth of Jamaica. Its flagship Black Gold Fine Jamaican Rum is a dark, fragrant spirit designed to pair traditional dark-rum character with the smoother, lighter body notes of gold. Aged for two years to mellow, it has a deep amber and bronze color and tasting notes of vanilla, caramel, toasted marshmallow, and natural spice. Master blender Joy Spence oversees its taste and handcrafted quality.

The brand recommends enjoying Blackwell Rum neat, on the rocks, or as the base for a cocktail. Its cocktail offerings range from a pineapple-and-lime GoldenEye Signature Cocktail to Caribbean-inspired takes on classics such as the Old Fashioned, as well as Rum & Cola. Blackwell also offers 007 Limited Edition and License to Chill products through its online shop. The website shares Jamaican culture, music, news, and cocktail ideas, and provides online ordering, customer service information, and newsletter updates.
