## Description

Black Yak is a fair trade clothing and accessories brand offering high-quality, stylish goods sourced from around the world. Recognised by BAFTS, the British Association for Fair Trade Shops and Suppliers, the business operates as a fair trade importer, wholesaler and retailer. It says it works closely with producer partners and buys only goods it considers honestly, fairly and ethically produced. Its approach aims to support fair wages throughout the year, safe and pleasant working conditions, and better prospects for the people who make its products.

The range includes hats, gloves, wristwarmers, mitts, scarves, snoods, jumpers, jackets, slippers, socks, bags, purses and children’s items, alongside crafts and home accessories. Customers can also browse seasonal clothing such as sun hats, cotton jackets, trousers, waistcoats, shirts and dresses, as well as gifts, ornaments and curiosities. Black Yak provides online shopping, gift cards, a sizing guide, delivery information, a blog and seasonal look books. The brand also shares information about how products are made in Nepal and the artisans behind them.
