The Blake Society, founded in 1985, is dedicated to celebrating the visionary work of William Blake. They champion Blake's influence in our culture and actively support his legacy. One of their notable undertakings was commissioning a stone to mark Blake's previously unmarked grave in Bunhill Fields, and they have plans to do the same for Catherine Blake. The Blake Society organizes regular meetings both online and in real locations, as well as Blakean events. They also publish VALA, an annual journal that explores Blake's art and ideas.
