## Description

BlaqOut is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and movement organization working to improve the lives and health of Black LGBTQ+ people and their allies in the greater Kansas City area and beyond. Guided by its commitment to community, healing, and social change, the organization creates pathways to care and spaces where people can feel celebrated, nurtured, seen, and heard.

BlaqOut offers inclusive clinical services at low or no cost, supporting whole health and well-being. Its services include access to PrEP, and the organization reports serving more than 1,300 people annually, with a 90% PrEP adherence rate. Programs and initiatives include Give A F_ck, the LEAD Fellowship Program, Let’s PrEP!, Level Up, PRISM, and The Resistance Lab. Together, these efforts support care, community connection, and advocacy.

People can get involved by attending events, volunteering, joining the monthly giving program, or supporting BlaqOut through donations, corporate giving, and its capital campaign. Based in Kansas City, BlaqOut also shares news, resources, and updates through its newsletter and online channels.
