## Description

Bleiksdagan is an annual community festival held in Bleik, celebrating local life, nature and culture. Organised by dedicated volunteers, the festival brings residents and visitors together for a lively weekend, with any surplus returned to the village. The 2026 event runs from 19 to 21 June, and its website provides the programme, ticket information, festival history and contact details.

Activities cater to a range of ages and interests. The weekend includes live entertainment, a singalong and pub evening, a midsummer party with live music and a DJ, and performances by local singers. Families can enjoy face painting, a carnival procession and activities on the football field, while other events include stands, outdoor grilling, an open house at the fire station and waterworks, and a friendly football match. Local vendors offer handmade crocheted items, Thai food, baked potatoes, lefse and other treats; a motoring club also displays vintage vehicles. Bleiksdagan additionally recognises a person or group each year as Bleik Resident of the Year for their contribution to the community.
