## Description

Blockfest is a renowned brand that has played a significant role in elevating the status of hip-hop culture in Finland. Founded in 2008, when hip-hop was on the sidelines with limited radio airplay and no bookings at major festivals, Blockfest aimed to change that. Over the years, both the genre and the festival have evolved and grown hand in hand, now dominating the Finnish charts and firmly establishing Blockfest among the top festivals in Finland. With a record-breaking attendance of 80,000 people in 2022, and being a five-time nominee for Festival of the Year at the Industry Awards gala, Blockfest has hosted an impressive lineup of artists such as 50 Cent, Lil Uzi Vert, Wu-Tang Clan, and Kendrick Lamar. As a brand, Blockfest strives to showcase the hottest hip-hop artists, the freshest trends, and the latest news from the genre, always prioritizing the quality of the music and providing unforgettable experiences for their community. Blockfest is a safe and inclusive space where everyone is welcome, regardless of age, gender, or cultural background. The brand stands firmly against racism and discrimination, with a zero-tolerance policy for violence and harassment. Blockfest continuously embraces and adapts to the ever-evolving hip-hop culture, ensuring that it remains at the forefront of the genre. Join the Blockfest community and experience the vibrant and diverse world of hip-hop.
