## Description

BlockTrust is a retirement-focused platform offering managed cryptocurrency investments through individual retirement accounts. Rather than leaving clients to trade from a self-directed dashboard, the company provides support with account onboarding, portfolio allocation, rebalancing, and reporting. Its Animus AI system monitors market data, news sentiment, and on-chain indicators around the clock and can adjust allocations as conditions change. Clients can track balances and trades through the sFOX platform.

BlockTrust supports crypto IRA accounts and rollovers, and offers consultations for people considering whether a managed digital-asset allocation fits their retirement plans. The company says client assets are held by sFOX, a qualified custodian, with institutional cold storage and $200 million in custody insurance. Its stated fees include a 2% annual management fee, a 25% performance fee on profits above the high-water mark, and a 0.14% trading fee; it lists no setup or flat closure fee and no lock-ups. BlockTrust also provides educational resources and services for financial advisors. The company notes that cryptocurrency investing involves substantial risk, including possible loss of principal.
