## Description

The Other Slowest Traveller is the travel blog and publishing project of Luis Sánchez, an editor and traveller who documents journeys across distinctive regions and cultures. Its stories trace routes from the Himalaya through Southeast Asia and into the heart of Africa, with reflections shaped by solo travel, local encounters, religious traditions, and everyday life. The site features blog posts, travel diaries, visual snapshots, and “Looks,” presenting places and experiences through concise, considered storytelling. Recent entries include visits to Lalibela and family life in Ethiopia, alongside earlier writing on Holy Week rituals in Pampanga, Buddhist imagery in Kathmandu, and Tibetan New Year celebrations in Sikkim. Sánchez describes travel as a way to reach unfamiliar landscapes, meet different people, and encounter new alphabets and architecture, while writing with order and perspective. The project also offers books and a newsletter for readers who want to follow its journeys and latest publications. Originally written in Spanish, The Other Slowest Traveller shares a personal, observant approach to travel and cultural discovery.
