## Description

Blokes Day Out is an Australian initiative focused on supporting men’s mental health and suicide prevention. It creates welcoming, respectful spaces where men can connect, talk about difficult experiences and access support in an approachable, non-confrontational setting. Its events are designed for workplaces, sporting teams, clubs and groups of friends, combining enjoyable activities with opportunities for conversation and personal growth.

The organisation offers “Right On Site,” a practical workplace measure intended to support construction workers and help address psychosocial obligations. Other services include one-to-one transformational breathwork, coaching and counselling, and Mental Health First Aid training for individuals and teams. The training helps participants recognise mental health concerns, offer support and refer colleagues to appropriate help.

Blokes Day Out also runs the Burpees for Our Brothers fundraising challenge, inviting people to complete burpees over seven days and raise awareness and funds. Money raised supports the organisation’s events, helping extend these supportive spaces to more men.
