These state-of-the-art refrigerators store up to 120 units of blood and are digitally linked to BloodworksNW Transfusion Service labs. The labs are staffed with specialized personnel and backed by transfusion expertise, specialized physicians, and transfusion safety officers.

Additionally, they work closely with the Immunohematology Reference Laboratory to solve complex transfusion problems.
