## Description

Bloom is a festival devoted to nature and science, bringing research, culture and public experiences together in Søndermarken, Copenhagen. Its aim is to help visitors understand the universe, the world and ourselves through engaging encounters with scientific ideas and the natural world. The next festival is scheduled for 28–30 May 2027, with free admission.

Bloom’s programme combines in-depth talks by researchers from Denmark and abroad with outdoor art, nature walks, concerts and activities for children. The most recent festival featured 125 talks, offering audiences opportunities to explore a wide range of subjects and perspectives. Beyond the main event, Bloom also presents related activities, including a collaboration with Alle Tiders in Kødbyen in October 2026, featuring talks, tastings and a dinner focused on themes such as symbiosis and the climate impact of wine.

The Bloom platform also includes Bloom School and Bloom High School, alongside practical information and opportunities to volunteer. The festival is backed by ADBC, a cultural agency that creates experiences, festivals, concepts and campaigns.
