## Description

Bloom Psychiatry is a Nashville, Tennessee, psychiatric practice rooted in women’s health and providing care across the lifespan. The practice offers comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and individualized medication management, with in-person appointments in East Nashville and telehealth options. Its approach considers each person’s history, health, life circumstances, symptoms, and goals, using evidence-based recommendations and explaining the reasoning behind treatment.

Bloom’s areas of care include women’s and perinatal mental health, including concerns related to fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum; perimenopause and menopause, with hormone therapy considered when appropriate; ADHD evaluations for children, teens, and adults; child and adolescent psychiatry; and mood and anxiety conditions, including depression and bipolar-spectrum disorders. The practice is led by psychiatric nurse practitioners Dr. Lauren Hansen and Mary Lauren Mitzelfeld, who see patients across different age groups. Care begins with a 60-minute evaluation to understand the patient’s needs and develop a plan. Follow-up appointments assess progress, side effects, and daily functioning, allowing the plan to be adjusted as needed.
